The NIHT held an Auditors seminar on Saturday the 11th October 2025 at its Johannesburg offices.
20 Auditors from around the country were in attendance.
The auditors training seminar was mainly to explain changes in systems and procedures for auditing, and also served as a refresher course for everyone.
Topics on presentations included amongst others:
- Procedures for Auditing manufacturers
- Procedures for auditing canteens and caterers
- Issuing of Non-Conformance warnings
- Q & A session
The Seminar provided a chance for auditors to reconnect in person, learn new skills and head home better prepared than ever before.
Senior officials were present throughout the day’s proceedings, offering insights and tips from their vast experience in the industry.
Proceedings were concluded with a supper braai, as auditors enjoyed lighthearted banter amongst each other under some light summer rain.
The NIHT team share a unique bond filled with laughter, which is one of the main reasons that the team can complete their tasks despite heavy deadlines, strict standards and other challenges they may face.
